Information On Different Types And Styles Of Suspended Ceiling

We offer installation of many different styles of Suspended Ceiling; including lay-in Grid, MF Plasterboard Ceilings and Metal Ceilings. We use key brands such as Armstrong, USG, Donne, Owa, Ecophon, Rockfon, SAS, British Gypsum, Knauf and Burgess. These systems can incorporate insulation for thermal or acoustic reasons. Below are some examples of; the most widely used systems, what we can offer, and in what situation they would be used.

Lay-In Grid Suspended Ceilings

Lay-in are constructed from different components to form a modular grid at either 600mm x 600mm or 1200mm x 600mm as standard. These are ideal for concealing pipe or ductwork, electrical services or unsightly soffits, and can incorporate many styles of luminaire. Lay In suspended ceiling tiles with high light reflectance properties will help light an area, whilst lowering the ceiling height effectivley reduces the area that needs heating or cooling. We can offer exposed, semi-concealed, and concealed grid systems. Exposed grids are most widely used in either 15mm or 24mm, with either a square or rebated edge detail. Please see our gallery for some example pictures. The application for each different system varies with the situation. The finished surface can then be painted, vinyled, or wall papered. This system is very verstile in the shapes' that it can create. It can incorporate curves, rafts, changes in level and lighting to fulfill almost any aesthetic requirement.
