One of the many internal fit out services that we offer is cost effective hygienic wall lining installation; we have installed for a wide range of our customers. In areas ranging from food prep, commercial kitchens, healthcare scenarios, through to wet rooms, changing rooms, shower and toilet areas. These sheets offer a hygienic alternative to tiles and grout, with a wipe-clean surface.

We have installers of Altro Whiterock and Bioclad trained installers on our team, who have attended and completed their in-house training programme.
Available as a standard in white, a wide range of alternative colours are also available; with a range of trim details complementing the panels.

Altro Whiterock White is Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) approved and is made from a high-quality, food-safe PVCu polymer that can handle temperatures up to 60°C. It meets all current European Union (EU) Directives on health and hygiene. This makes it particularly suitable for use in commercial kitchens.
The sheets are available in a range of colours, from white wall cladding through to pastel colours.
Thermoformed corners, or welded joints
Part of the training our fitters received from BioClad and Altro was how to form theromformed corners (which can be used in lieu of external corner trims for example), and welded (with a weld rod) joints; perfect for very hygienic requirements.
Thermoforming the sheets involves heating them to a temperature where the sheets becomes soft and it is then bent to the correct shape to suit the angle of the corner.
Where hygiene is of particular importance the wall lining can meet a capped and coved flooring with a transition detail, providing a seamless transition.
What is hygienic pvc wall cladding?
Hygienic wall cladding is a product used where hygiene is very important. This could include food areas, washrooms, hospitals, supermarkets, laboratories, pharmaceutical areas, clean rooms, or schools. The list goes on!
The wall hygienic wall cladding that we use is durable, tough, impact resistant, and very easy to clean. The products we install are from manufacturers called Bioclad and Altro; with the Altro Whiterock being the household name, and Bioclad the Whiterock alternative.
Why use a hygienic lining?
Well, as the name suggests it is very hygienic and easy to keep clean. There is no grout involved (grout-free), which is where the mould and bugs live in traditional ceramic tiles; it is also very hard wearing requiring little to no maintenance.
