We are a drylining contractor based in Hereford.
We offer specialist drylining services to the commercial sector, working as a sub-contractor to other contractors or directly to end users; helping for example businesses, schools, healthcare organisations and the public sector.
We have been involved in the interiors industry since 1994, and have been working with various drylining systems since then so have many years experience in the various systems available.
We work mainly through Hereford & Herefordshire and Worcester & Worcestershire, covering for example Ledbury, Ross on Wye, Monmouth, Bromyard, Leominster, Malvern, and Ludlow and then into Gloucester & Gloucestershire, Evesham, Cheltenham and Pershore areas.
Our drylining services are a core part of what we offer; whether it’s complete partitioning systems on site for a new build, or as part of our interior refurbishment works where we can offer a complete fit out solution.
Our team of skilled tradesmen are versed in the various different systems and the slights differences required to ensure a compliant installation.
The various drylining systems all come with various benefits to using them; whether that’s the speed of the install, the generally reduced drying times of tape and joint, or the ability to install a wide range of boards and insulation to offer a huge range of performance improvements with regards to fire or acoustic.
Metal Stud Partitions:
This is likely the most common system used in the for commercial interiors; it consists of a lightweight metal track and stud system that forms a framework, for insulation to the cavity, and plasterboard to be fixed to on either side.
The performance of a partition depends upon the types of boards screw fixed to the studs, and the insulation installed to the cavity; however it is easy to create a range of partitions from a standard space divider, through to a thermally, acoustic and fire rated divider.
The boards are then finished with tape and jointing or plastering, to achieve a smooth finish ahead of the application of final decorations.
Gypliner:
Gypliner is similar to a metal stud partition however it is a lining applied in front of an existing wall (masonry or otherwise) to create a new plumb and easy to finish surface.
Using Gypliner can be used to simply tidy up a wall, or help create a surface void, or to improve the thermal or fire rating specification of an existing wall.
The boards are again finished by tape and jointing or plastering to achieve a smooth and flat finish.
MF Ceilings:
MF ceilings are more commonly just noted as plasterboard ceilings. A metal framework is formed by using primary and secondary metalwork, with is then finished with plasterboard.
Much like the above systems, an MF ceiling can be purely decorative, or it can be installed to provide a fire rating or acoustic value.
An MF ceiling can also be installed to create features in a ceiling such as changes in level, or slope and bulkhead features, ahead of being taped and jointed.
Suspended Ceilings:
Formed using gridwork in either 600×600 or 1200×600 modules, and finished with a range of ceiling tiles, a ceiling can either be purely decorative or can help with acoustics and in some instances fire ratings.
They’re quick to install and can incorporate lighting and mechanical ventilation systems.
