3rd Party Fire Door Installation Contractors
We are 3rd Party Accredited Fire Door Installers based in Hereford in the West Midlands covering, within an approximate radius of 60 miles, surrounding areas such as Hereford, Worcester, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye, Malvern, Monmouth, Leominster, Bromyard, Ludlow and also into the Gloucester, Gloucestershire, Cheltenham, Evesham, and Pershore areas.
We are also able to undertake a wide range of related fit out services; including ceilings, partitions, decorations, fire stopping, and many more.
Fire doors are a passive fire protection and can be supplied in several different guises – fire door sets, fire door assemblies and then nominal fire doors.
We can supply and fit 30 minute and 60 fire doors, into timber and office partitioning frames, in either a paint grade or veneer finish. Fire doors can have vision panels incorporated into them where they have a fire test to show they have been tested.
Exova BMTrada Q-Mark Fire Door Installers
In order to achieve it’s potential fire rated status, a door and frame needs correct installation.
Q-Mark is a third party accreditation term, which means that the company and installer have undergone initial training and then on-going checks to ensure that the quality of work meets the standards of the scheme.
We have achieved our 3rd party accreditation in fire door installation and fire stopping from BMTrada QMark.
Taken from the BMTrada Q-Mark website:
“Demonstrates competence in the installation of fire doors.”
“The Q-Mark fire door installation scheme has been designed to provide reassurance to specifiers, contractors and end users that the product they have chosen has been installed correctly and that it will perform as intended.”
Fire Door Inspection
We take our responsibilities in fire safety very seriously. We have certificates from FPA (Fire Protection Association) in Fire Doors, and are currently undergoing the FDIS (Fire Doors Inspection Scheme) Diploma certificate which is a certification created between the BWF (British Woodworking Federation)-Certifire Scheme and the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI).
You may have had a fire door inspection, with a detailed report, showing and remedial works that may be required.
